I’ve spent my whole life around job sites, communities, and working people. When something starts to go wrong, you don’t ignore it and hope it fixes itself. You stop, you look at what’s broken, and you fix it. That’s how I see crime in Ottawa right now.

If you’ve ever run a business, raised a family, or worked a trade, you know this simple truth: time matters. And right now, Ottawa is wasting people’s time every single day.

I’ve built houses. I’ve hired trades. I’ve worked with real people who just want a fair shot at owning or renting a place they can afford. So when I hear politicians talk about housing like it’s an abstract problem, it drives me nuts.

I’ve never met a working person who felt like they were getting great value for their property taxes right now. Taxes keep going up, and services keep getting cut. That’s not sustainable, and it’s not fair.
